Spartan 14.v1.1.0. En el caso de los cúmulos Ru3(CO)10(Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2),
n=1-6, mostraron mayor estabilidad
miembros, dppm y dppe, respectivamente.

ABSTRACT
The relative stability of the
ruthenium clusters, Ru3(CO)10(Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2) n=1-6, Ru3(CO)12-2N(μ-dppm)N
N=1-3 and mononuclear complexes,
Ru(CO)3(Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2) n=1-6,
were calculated with the Hartree-Fock STO-3G SCF method, using Pulay DIIS +
direct minimization geometry. The H-F calculations were done using a Spartan
14.v1.1.0 software. For the Ru3(CO)10(Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2), n=1-6, clusters, there is greater
stability when the ring formed by the diphoshine was a 5 or 6 membered ring
(dppm y dppe). Fort the Ru3(CO)12-2N(dppm)N
with N=1-3, cluster, there was
greater stability for the N=3 system,
with a linear stability increase tendency with the number of diphosphines. The
Ru(CO)3(Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2) n=1-6,
mononuclear homologues show greater stability for n=6. The calculated structures were compared with the known
complexes that have crystallographic information (Cambridge Structural Database
CCDC 2007), with close values.
